A true ode to the land and the deepest roots of La Manchuela
On our estates we have worked to recover the tradition of multi-varietal vineyards and wines, obtaining old plots of our best varieties: Bobal, Monastrell, Garnacha, Tinta, Moravia Agria
Recover tradition as a flag
The fundamental thing of the project is to bet on traditional varieties, some of them almost extinct, on the differentiation of vineyards… in short, to value the great biodiversity and recover the wine tradition of Manchuela

Our history
dates back to 1998
”A ripe nose of cherries, violets and strawberry jam advances a complexity that seems impossible for a wine in which the barrel does not play a leading role, demonstrating that what is fundamental does not require artifice.

Tradition of multivarietal vineyards and wines
In 1998, the journalist Víctor de la Serna created our wine estate from scratch, in Ledaña (Cuenca), in the heart of central Manchuela; a region of the Spanish Southeast, almost forgotten until recently, that offers excellent terroirs
of dominant limestone at high altitude. We were inspired by the fruitful coexistence there of this high-class breed with the Spanish Garnacha and Monastrell. We also expanded our varietal diversity with a small experimental plot of touriga nacional.

Zone identity
Working our plots meticulously knowing that it is there, in the countryside, where great wines are really made.
Technique and Tradition
We work coherently in the winery, with the technical knowledge we have today but in a traditional way.
Wine Soul
We obtain the purest expression of our grapes, without the technology that today homogenizes wines and leaves them soulless.
